Theater made patch and distinctive unit insignia on this Tech 5’s Ike.
9th Airborne Engineer Command – 851st Engineer Bn Ike Jacket. Not named fully, but has the soldier’s written and stenciled “F-8007” on the back lining. The patch is theater made, might be English, French or German, but definitely theater done. The distinctive unit insignia are German made, and painted pin backs in just about perfect condition.
The Tech 5 chevrons are on dark blue wool, as is the 1 service strap. The overseas bars are in bullion and English made. They show some verdigris buildup around the edges. Disc are screw post, two piece types. Ruptured Duck over right breast pocket.
The ribbons earned for this engineer are the American Campaign, Good Conduct, WWII Victory, and EAME with 2 campaign stars. This is how they came, thats how their leaving here despite being out of order.
A few moth holes; one on the right sleeve near the chevron, and a few on the back shoulders.

Overall a fine looking “Ike” jacket.
