Seated view of 1st Lieutenant Elisha R. Starr, who entered service as a sergeant into Co. K, 5th Conn. Infantry on July 22, 1861. He re-enlisted on December 21, 1863 at Alexandria, Va.  Starr was wounded the battle of Cedar Mountain, Va. on August 9, 1862.
