CDV – An Ornamental Lake at US Naval Academy. The image shows a long series of connected buildings behind “Senetar Lake,” at the U.S. Naval Academy during the Civil War.
Identified in period ink on reverse, reads, “Senetar Lake{ one of the ornamental lakes of U.S.N.A.” There is a pencil name beneath that, but hard to read.
No backmark.
