Residence Mason City, Iowa; 18 years old.
Enlisted on 8/13/1862 as a Priv.

On 9/11/1862, he mustered into “B” Co. 32nd Iowa.
He was Mustered Out on 8/11/1865 at Davenport, IA

The regiment had several engagements in Missouri, Arkansas, and Louisiana, with their biggest battle at Pleasant Hill, La. on April 9, 1864.
