Early 19th Century Beaver Trap. Made of iron and I believe complete with bait plate and trigger, anchoring chain, and higher arched jaws

No maker markings visible, and made circa 1820s-40s.  Approximately 22 inches long.

A great rusting old Fur Trade -Mountain Man item.
