Elizabeth II Era Highland Light Infantry Bag Pipe Banner.   Fine embroidery on yellow satin. with 4 loop for attaching to hanging rod, or other.

The regiment’s service began in 1881 when formed, and saw service in Egypt and the 2nd Boer War, WWI and WWII. The regiment was amalgamated with the Royal Scots Fusiliers in 1859.  The insignia bears a Queen’s crown, that being Elizabeth the 2nd (1953 – 2022).

Just had to by it due to the quality, and the history of the regiment.

Size is 2 feet on longest side x 15 inches including fringe.
