Description
Hand Painted Souvenir From Rome – 1944, measures 9 inches square, and has the American Flag, and the Colosseum painted on it.
A nice example of the industrious Italians making use of their skills to survive in wartime occupation.
There is some staining from a previous owner having placed a sticky price tag on it, but I have cleaned most of the substance away. The images show the piece before my attempt at clean it up some.
Needs a good ironing.
A great little GI bring-home souvenir.
