M2HB.50 Caliber Browning Machine Gun Spade Grips & Trigger.
Made by AC Sparkplug, General Motors, circa 1944. This is the complete Back Plate Grip Assembly for the M2 machine gun. It consists of the back plate, spade grips (wood), trigger. This is the type used by Army Air Forces bomber waist gunners. Parkerized finish is overall 60-70%.
Included with the back plate grip assembly, is the other end of the business; the M2 Front Sight. Overall height is 3 5/8 inches. Mix of original finish with some rust, and would clean up better if so desired.
Hard to find these complete assemblies, and new made items cost just under the price of this original, no counting the value of the front sight.
