This black and white photo of First Lady Mamie Eisenhower, is inscribed, ” To Ann and Art Nevins with my Love Mamie Doud Eisenhower.” This is an authentic signed autograph given to General and Mrs. Arthur S. Nevins, when Mamie was First Lady.
General Nevins, was a long time friend and fellow Army officer with Ike, served on his staff at Supreme Headquarters Allied Expeditionary Force HQtrs, and was later asked to manage the Presidents Gettysburg Farm, not to mention great golfing buddies.
I bought this photo some years ago in Gettysburg, when I purchased a large lot of material belonging to Arthur Nevins. The photo was framed on Gettysburg. Excellent condition with a great WWII association. Size is 8×10, and 12×14 framed.
