Description
Model 1896 – 1902 Medical Officer’s Shoulder Knots. This pattern began in 1896 using the Maltese cross, directly embroidered on to a black ground using gilt bullion; with silver bullion lieutenant colonel oak leaf rank as well. The buttons are made by M.C. Lilley & Co., Columbus, Ohio. One of the knots are hallmarked only, but are contained in a black Japanned tin marked M.C. Lilley.
In the bottom of the tin are the brass slide and hook which are mounted on the uniform.
Condition is excellent, and appear to have hardly any wear.
A scarce set used for only 6 years.
