Description
Pattern 1839 Regulation Cartridge Box Plate. This original plate appears to be an unissued, but does show some wear to the original luster; perhaps but on a cartridge box on display and over time as worn some. Still a handsome example.
Lead filled back shows no wear, just a light patina around the outer perimeter; typical iron loops for attaching to box.
Another great example.
