A nicely engraved wrist bracelet for 2nd Lt. William J. Francis Q.M.C.U.S.A.
2nd Lieutenant William J. Francis served in WWI in the Quartermaster Corps. He was not a regular army officer, and I have found nothing to speak of in regards to his service. It is however, a very expertly engraved wrist bracelet made of Sterling and marked such on the reverse side.
The original silver chain with locking rings remains and functions. The size of the chain suggests this was worn by a wife or sweetheart.
Condition is fine.
