Description
U.S. Veteran Signal Corps Association Medal -1898 -1899.
A scarce medal made for Signal Corps veterans who served in the War with Spain 1898-1899. The main medal is gilt brass with enameling, 34mm diameter. The pin bar is fashioned into a three draw telescope from which the black and white ribbon is suspended. From 1889 to 1902, Signal Corps colors were black, changed from the original orange.
