An escort carrier launched in 1944, and had a short late war career in the Pacific Theater, under the command of Captains R. G. Lockart and James P Walker, during the war. participating in three engagements, Palau Islands, Invasion of the Philippines, and Okinawa.
A fine copy, from the library of Admiral John J. Ballentine, Admiral Halsey’s Fleet Air Commander. Not identified. I owned a large portion of Ballentine’s Archive.
