This cigarette case was made specifically for the 3rd Infantry Division and a map on the reverse side shows Western Europe and the Med. with all the movements of the division recorded there on.
The front of the case lists all the campaign credits and two medal bars; The American Presidential Unit Citation, and the French Croix De Guerre with palms. Centered is the shoulder sleeve insignia of the 3rd Division. There is no individual history with this case, but in general terms, fits into any 3rd Division collection.
Showing only light wear, and in excellent condition.
