Description
WWII Rockefeller Center Civil Defense Warden Badge. At the beginning of WWII, many belligerent nations were evicted from the fairly new building. British Intelligence and Wild Bill Donovan of the OSS maintained offices here at the center.
The Rockefeller Center Civil Defense WARDEN badge shows some light wear. The clasp on the back opens nicely and the pin moves with ease. Overall in very nice condition.
Measures approx. 2 1/2″ x 2 1/16″.
