Letter and Circular for a Confederate Monument – Lee & Jackson in 1917 – SOLD

An original letter dated March 6, 1917, reminding a woman that the “County Commissioners issued a warrant to you for $650. to pay the balance on the … Monument”.

He signs it with “kind regards” and a “very truly yours”, with a copy of the monument and information it also.

So did she pay up? Who knows.
